Ronald A. Johnson is a founding partner of Johnson, Johnson, Barrios & Yacoubian.  He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 6, 1945.  He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Tulane University and was a member of the Tulane Moot Court Board.  Ron was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1969 and practices before the U. S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the
U. S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U. S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U. S. Supreme Court.

Ron is the author of "Tallentire, Can Civil Code Article 2315 Supplement the Death on the High Seas Act," in the 1996 Louisiana Bar Journal.  He is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Maritime Law Association of the United States, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute (Executive Committee 1992-1995; Chairman 1995) and Defense Research Institute.
