Scott J. Spivey is an associate with the firm.  He was born in Orlando, Florida on May 22, 1968.  He is a 1990 graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy (B.S.M.) and received his Juris Doctorate in 1996 from Loyola University School of Law.  Scott served in the United States Coast Guard for six years as a junior officer prior to commencing the practice of law.  He is admitted to practice in Louisiana and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Scott served as the Workers' Compensation Mediator for the Office of Workers' Compensation, disputed claims hearings division from 2001 - 2003 in District 2, located in Alexandria, Louisiana. 

He is currently a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, American Bar Association, Alexandria Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
